Overview:

A hands-on workshop designed to give dog owners the confidence torecognise and respond to common emergencies. Perfect for pet parents, sitters, walkers, and anyone who wants to keep their dog safe and prepared.

What Participants Will Learn:

• How to assess vital signs in dogs (pulse, respiration, gum colour)
• Basic wound care: cleaning, dressing, and when to seek veterinary help
• Bandaging techniques (paw injuries, limb wraps, head wraps)
• How to recognize and respond to choking and breathing emergencies
• CPR fundamentals for dogs (including when and how to perform it)
• Bleeding control and shock management
• Handling poisoning situations and what substances are commonly dangerous
• Transporting an injured dog safely

Cost:

• R1000 per person
• R1300 for Comprehensive first Aid box

Duration:

• Usually 1-2 hours (workshop format)
